Jason Aldean Concert Review

The “Burn it Down” concert held at Columbus Crew stadium was a sold out version of Jason Aldean’s tour on September 14 2014 literally went up to flames and am not talking about the actual flames and those beautiful sparklers that were continuously shooting up from the main stage which were on those huge capital A shaped video screens,am talking about some sensational performance from him too.

He made his entrance while standing on top of one of those huge A shaped video screens and just ran down to one side of the stage and after that encore of She’s country singing to that ace shaped microphone ,the stage just burst into flames.

His 75 minutes performance considering that the songs performed weren’t note for note, the concert was generally well placed for he knew the right places and buttons to touch for the crowd to go insane. And his opening remarks of assuring fun to the fans by singing a couple of songs and the after party which involved drinking of course, indeed made memories.

A lot of hard country rock was played but the attention was directed to The Truth, a country song that he featured the Pedal steel guitar and his black acoustic guitar. Afterwards,he show cased some range by singing ‘Don’t you wanna stay’, a song dated back 1994 by showing duet partner Kelly Clarkson on screen and also the rap done on the road anthem.

His middle act was his country’s most successful duo, Florida Georgia Line and each song synchronized the rocking, the twin lead vocals and also the dance-able beats from Ormond Beach, Fla and also Tyler Hubbard from Monroe, Ga who was long haired and wore a columbus muscle shirt and actually had the stronger voice but again,Kelly who was twanging a lot complemented for rocking Big and Rich.

Songs such as ‘It’s Just What We do’, ‘Party People’, ‘This is how we Roll’, ‘ Cruise and Get your shoes On’, kind of sounded the same but they joined Aldean on stage for ‘The only way I know’. ‘Round here’ and ‘Dirt’ are the songs that stood out after which a bottle of whiskey was passed to the crowd and after Cruise, which ended with a guitar solo leading to the introduction of newcomer Tyler farr who did a 20 minute set by singing Camio is the new Black,Redneck crazy,Whiskey in My Water, among the rest after which the drinking, dancing and screaming crowd was ushered out by bob Marley’s One Love.
